You might have low expectations for a burnout video. Put those aside and watch.

Do people not do that before replacing rears? I was taught that it was an important -perhaps vital - part of the process.
If I ever have children I'm going to tell them that tire shops won't replace rears unless they're corded.

My Forester now has a sad :(. I could pull a specific fuse, but that would make it FWD only.

I just got a quote from a shop yesterday to replace the clutch in my M5. I made an appointment with them to do the work next week and on my way out the door the guy said to "have fun with my clutch while I can."
Not sure that's possible to wear out a clutch and not hurt something else on the car. "Fun" is a burnout (don't want to toast my tires yet) or some hard starts (which it can't really do since the clutch is slipping).

Agreed. Although, it can never top a good rotary burnout. Something about seeing random flames in the middle of the giant smoke cloud just makes it better.

Also the relative sound of someone weedeating a yard within that giant cloud of smoke also makes me all giggly on the inside.

Exactly. Who doesn't like the sound of a Smurf's car trapped in a tin can at 9,000 rpms?

I've been doing that for the last few weeks. Ok, not really that, since you can only do so much with an '05 focus, but I have managed a couple of near 100ft one-wheel burnouts. It raining today though and it is getting pretty sketchy since the tires are nearing the point that the tread is barely identifyable.
